Learn to make focaccia from Master Baker, Danielle Forestier

Ah, there is nothing quite like the smell of baking bread.  Now you can take
home the skills needed to wow your family and friends.

Join us on Saturday, September 20th, from 9:30am to 2:30pm.

Make, bake and taste classic and innovative combinations on hearth-baked,
handmade dough in a professional bakery setting.  We will be holding this
exclusive, limited-seating class at the San Francisco Baking Institute,
which is a state of the art facility for the baking industry, located at 480
Grandview Drive, South San Francisco.  This class is also being brought to
you through the generous donation of Cook Natural Products.

"Clever Italians simply take a little dough, sprinkle it with products of
the countryside, and turn it into a delicious and edible plate."  Carol
Field, from her book The Italian Baker

Focaccia appears to date back to Neolithic times, and comes from the Latin
word for "hearth".  This simple bread has been delighting palates for
thousands of years!

This hands-on class will be followed by lunch featuring our own focaccia
paired with delicious wines chosen to match the innovative toppings.

AIWF Members: $45 per person
