The wines will be introduced to us by Jeremy Wilkinson, owner of Great Wines International, originally from South Africa and an expert on South African wines.
Until recently, there were two areas, Stellenbosch and Paarl, that were regarded as South Africa’s premier wine growing areas. Jeremy will present some top performing vineyards from these environs but will introduce you to other regions that also offer single-vineyard wines of superb quality.
An additional attraction of the event is that Jeremy will be taking orders for any of the wines served at the dinner, and all attendees will be entitiled to a 20% discount on any orders placed that evening.
The food will be served by Crossing The Bar restaurant, which serves French Indian fusion cuisine on the waterfront. Sweeping views of the ocean punctuated by sea-gulls landing on the piers with silent ships quietly crossing the Bay is what's seen through the windows of Crossing the Bar. Executive Chef Bidisha Chowdhury has a passion for different spices and ingredients which helped her create this fantastic and unique style of cuisine.
